The Nissan Leaf EV To Launch In Nepal By Early 2021

Pioneer Moto Corp Pvt. Ltd, the authorized distributor of Nissan in Nepal has announced its plan to launch the Nissan Leaf in Nepal by early 2021. The company had earlier postponed the launch of the Leaf in Nepal after the Government decided to hike the excise duty on electric vehicles. However, with the recent decision by the government to reduce the excise duty, Pioneer Moto Corp is finally making preparations to launch Nissan Leaf by early 2021. Nissan Leaf is the first Mass Marketed Electric Vehicle and also the global leader in the EV market. It is the most advanced car in Nissan’s EV segment and has sold over 250,000 units so far.The first Nissan Leaf was launched in December of 2010 in Japan and comes with advanced features and a bold new look. Globally the Leaf EV is powered by a 40 kWh or a 62 kWh battery pack with the former giving 147 hp of power and 240 km of range and the latter giving 214 hp of power and 363 km of range, The car charges up to 80 percent in just 40 minutes via a fast charger. It comes with the revolutionary e-Pedal technology which allows you to drive your car with a single pedal.
